They were Plantation owners.They hosted balls and events. During that time they talked about Political Events and religion .

They owned roughly 1000 miles by a 1000 miles of land.which reached from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Mississippi River in the west, from the Great Lakes in the north nearly to the Gulf of Mexico in the south

The plantation owners liked to hunt and ride. They were practically interested in any thing especially natural history, geography and the rights of man.

The lifestyle of a person in 1803 for Lewis and Clark where good because they did dances, fiddle playing and boxing and religious events. They had to be gentlemen and polite, generous and kind. Kevin
It was 1000 by 1000 miles and it was only 1 third of the U.S so far. The men tried to make maps of the western territory and the maps were not right on the mark. They new there was a river that was going to help them. Kevin
They heard about a path up there called the Northwest passage. They heard about woolly mammoths. Kevin
